Margaret Schweigert

Margaret A. Schweigert, 93, of Akron, born May 4, 1923, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2016. Margaret enjoyed being actively involved with the Red Hat Society, spending time with members of the former Y Club, and she was a member of First Church of God in Tallmadge. She loved to play bingo and she was an amazing artist.
In addition to her parents, Carl and Mary Ann Miller, Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Tandarich; loving second husband, Phillip Schweigert; sons, Stephen and Michael Tandarich; sister, Lillian Newcomb; and granddaughter, Tammy Tandarich.
She is survived by son, Pete Tandarich; step-son, Paul Schweigert; step-daughters, Karen Daniels, and Kathy Hickok; grandchildren, Steve Tandarich, Carol Cover, Mike A. (Shellie) Tandarich, Michael R. and Todd (Angie) Tandarich, Eric, Jason, Shawn, Lucas, Asia Tandarich, Tonya Payton, Robbie Hickok, and Adam, Cory, Justin and Benjamin Schweigert; cousins, Bob and Jerry Riddell; and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 6:30 pm at First Church of God, 464 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to the church.
