Margaret Eva Thomas, 66, passed away June 4, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sommersville, WV to William and Mary Woods. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard; parents, William and Mary Woods; and brothers and sisters. Margaret is survived by her children, Richard (Angie), Daniel (Stacy), Gordan (Connie), Joseph (Sheri), and Eva (Tim) Ellison; and she will be missed by her many loving grandchildren, sisters, brother and her husband's brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will Monday, June 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at 11 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior, with Pastor Brenda Young officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
