Margarette L. Woods

Margarette L. Woods, 80, passed away August, 21, 2021. Born in Cowen, West Virginia to Kenneth and Coralee Lewis / Pearl Chaffin Sherlin, she resided in the Akron/Tallmadge, Ohio area most of her adult life. She formerly had a dog grooming business known as Marge's Pooch Parlor. In addition to her love of animals she greatly enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Scotty Robert, Sr.; son, Scotty Robert; sisters, Jean Boothe of Camden Gauley, WV, Mary Ray of Akron, OH, Patricia Beale of Cowen, WV; brother, Donald Chaffin of Cowen WV.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Doug Woods, Montgomery Woods, Kimberly Pfleger; grandchildren, Shaun Pfleger, Crystal Pfleger; siblings, Jan Medley of Cambridge, OH, Edna Thompson of Craigsville, WV, Nancy Fletcher of Coppercreek, GA, Tina (Charles) Mathes of Cowen WV, John (Hildie) Chaffin of Craigsville, WV, Elaine Wolfe of Cowen, WV, Bernard (Cindy) Chaffin of Dalton OH / Kennie Lewis, Jr, Gloria June Daniel, Robert Lewis, Linda Shuster, Roger Lewis, Eddie Lewis Sr., Shirley Ann Rogers, Dana Lewis, Donna Longaberger, Corena Liogky.

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, September 3, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Marge's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
