Maria "Ria" Harrison

Maria "Ria" Harrison, 62, passed away August 22, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Akron, Ohio to James and Geraldine Lomax, she resided in the area all of her life. Ria enjoyed fashion, shopping, watching westerns, decorating and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies and her dog, Smokey Pete.

In addition to her parents, Ria was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ramona Lomax. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Ramona Harrison, Deven Crosby; grandchildren, Jaevier, Elijah, Donovan, Mason, Dakota, Mickaylah; sisters, Francine (David) Reynolds, Charrise Lomax; special sister, Carmen Brown; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Ria's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Ria's name to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
