Maria "Mary" Settle, 93, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2018. She was born September 11, 1924 in Tilden, IL to late parents Anthony and Angelina Massa. Maria retired from Goodyear after 30 years of service. Mary enjoyed the casinos, bingo, golfing and bowling.
She is preceded in death by husband, Robert Settle; siblings, John, Lena, Louie, Tony, Margaret, Dominic; Mary is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie Hall; step-son, Addis Settle; and grandchildren, Christopher, Tanna, Matthew, Joshua; sister, Catherine (John); sisters-in-law, Francy and Lil.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place at 4 pm. Cremation will follow at a later date.
