Marian L. Everhart, 93, passed away June 1, 2021 at Heather Knoll Rehab and Nursing Facility.
Born in Akron, Ohio on April 5, 1928, she lived both in Ohio and Miami, Florida during her life. She greatly enjoyed traveling to Mexico and the Bahamas, especially on cruises.
Marian, like her mother, was an excellent cook, and a great caregiver. She took care of anyone who needed it.
She loved Boston terriers and had 4 over the years. Marian loved playing Bingo, Card games, and Slot machines with her friends and family. Family was important, and spending time with her family and friends was her joy. She loved to talk and laugh.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, John Everhart; daughter, Judith Ray; brothers, Charles, Arthur, Robert, and Ernest; sisters, Marie, Edna, Anna, June, Gladys, Jean; many cousins and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her Granddaughter, Kara Ray; nephew, Robert Shambach (Bev); friends, Paula Davis, Diane Schaefer, Edward Palone Jr; as well as many cousins (Shambach's), nieces, nephews and friends of the family.
The visitation will be at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. with the service to follow at 6 p.m.
After cremation, there will be a short interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
