Marian L. Fuson, 81, passed away August 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, Ohio to Purdy Max and Margaret Emily (Smith) Riggle, she was a lifelong area resident. Marian grew up in Portage Lakes where she loved playing ball at Logan Fields and was a graduate of Coventry High School class of 1960. After being introduced to James by his cousin Ruth, the two wed on June 18th, 1960 and began their family. Marian worked various jobs including O'Neil's Dept Store for which she worked 15 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallmadge for 25 years. Marian enjoyed and excelled at quilting, cooking, church, watching Hallmark movies, and of course shopping. Many of these things were done with her daughter/best friend Stacy at her side. She and her daughter Trudy shared a gift and love of crafts and quilting. She had an extreme amount of pride in her son Jimmy and everything he did and her close relationship with her granddaughter Justine was something she valued dearly. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and close friends, especially her great grandchildren. Her love and generosity will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
