Marianne Freeland, 64, passed away on August 18, 2008. She was born in Akron, OH on October 6, 1943 to the late Hale James and Catherine Dooley. Marianne enjoyed arranging flowers and was a true "people person" who would do anything to help anyone. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Emily Lindinbeky; sister Linda Myers; and nephew Gordon Myers, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard; daughter Lisa Freeland (Krisa Mabry); son Michael (Catherine); grandchildren Carl, Kenny, and Kristen; and brother James (Sherry) Dooley. Calling hours will be Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m., Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
