R. Marie Johnson, 76, of Doylestown, passed away August 31, 2016. Marie was born in Haleyville, Alabama on June 13, 1940 to the late Carl and Arvrea Jeffery. She loved her family, friends, her dog Sadie and the Cleveland Indians. Best known for her determination and compassion, she will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Bob Johnson in 2003.
She is survived by children, Robert A. (Renee) Johnson, II, and Tina M. (Bart) Anderson; sister, Terry (Donnie) Snyder; 3 grandsons, AJ, Liam and Spencer Johnson, and many other family and friends.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 12:00 pm-2 pm with Memorial Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the family to be donated to charities in her honor.
