Marie Klinginsmith, 79, went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2008. Marie was born June 15, 1929 in Roderfield, West Virginia to the late Floyd and Doris Kirk. She was employed at Mactac and later as a hostess at Michelle's. She attended Liberty Bible Church in Atwater. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Klinginsmith; daughter, Barbara Wagner; grandson, Donald C. Brown; and great-great-granddaughter, Grace Dawn. She is survived by her daughters, Rosa Wagner, Brenda (Jeff) Niday, and Paulette Edge (Ike); stepchildren, Debbie (Bob) Wilson and family, William (Lisa) Klinginsmith, Jr. and family, and Jeffrey (Cathy) Klinginsmith and family; grandchildren, Paul (April) Woodard, Shelly (Jack) Kline, Teresa (Ron) Mizner, Sandra (Rick) Eubank, John Brown, Tina Ault, Gina Voytec, and Rina (Randy) Roos; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Alana, Savannah, Haley, Lindsey, Ricky, Kilee, Matt, Erin, Chase, Robert, Brenda, Richard, Zachary, Brett, and Misty; great-great-grandson, Noah; and many cousins. The family would like to thank the Akron City Hospital CCU staff for all the care given to Marie, and a special thank you to Nurse Beverly Saffels. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
