Marie E. Moseley, 91, of Mogadore, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2016 with her family at her side. Marie was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 19, 1924 to the late Charles and Marie Kluth. She was raised in Leetsdale, PA where she met her husband of 66 years who preceded her in death in 2008. Together with her husband, they owned and operated Marie's Leasing Trucking Company until 2008. Her life's joy was singing and she shared her beautiful voice through participation in a woman's quartet and choir at Akron Baptist Temple for over 50 years. She continued to share her gift at various nursing homes in the community until she was 89 years old. Marie was an avid seamstress and designed her own quilts as gifts for others, and she loved language and doing her crossword puzzles daily up until her death. Each year she looked forward to the blooming of her flower garden and often invited others to enjoy their beauty. She was an intelligent, articulate and stimulating communicator and she will be dearly missed by friends and family.
In addition to her parents and husband Pierce, Marie was preceded in death by her son Kenneth.
She is survived by daughters Sheila Moseley and Carren Mattix; son Roger; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 36 great-great-grandchildren.
