Marilou Catt

Marilou Catt, age 89, passed away September 10, 2023 at home with her family by her side. She was the last of 13 children, all born at home in Akron. She graduated from East High School and married the love of her life, Dick. They moved to Mogadore in 1969 and remained there to raise their family. She retired from Acme in 1993 to do more with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dick and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters Kathy and John Olesky, Terry and Rob Keener; grandchildren John and Adri Olesky, Abby and Matt Halishak, Alec Keener, Aaron Keener and his fiancée Natalie Shaffer, Megan Keener; great-grandchildren Brett and Bryce Olesky and Aryah Saling. She also leaves many nieces and nephews as well.

The family would like to thank her favorite nephew and niece Bud and Jan Hamas for all their love and support these past 10 years since Dick passed and Mom's health declined. Thanks to Dr. Coleman and Summa Hospice Susan, RN, and Melissa, HHA for all they have done to ease Mom into a better place without pain or suffering.
