Marilyn Ellen Bader

Marilyn E. (nee Poling) Bader passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on January 19, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to the late Wayne and Mildred Poling. After graduation, she went on to work as a florist. She married Harry D. Bader on June 2, 1962 and they had five children together. Marilyn had a passion for foster care and cared for children for 15 years. She loved kids and would always care for her grandkids as well. She created many different projects including corsages and boutonnieres for her kids' dances.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Harry D. Bader; sister, Nila Nester; and brother, Roger Poling.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lori (Todd) Wigner, Dale (Carole) Bader, Rick (Shannon) Bader, Becky (Joe) Schulte and Tim (Shay) Bader; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 12pm until the time the funeral service begins at 1pm. Pastor Clyde Votaw will officiate.
