Marilyn J. Elliott

Marilyn J. Elliott passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born to the late William and Ruth Maloney on July 28, 1936 in Akron, Ohio. An area resident for all her life, Marilyn graduated from Garfield High School in 1954. She then went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for 44 faithful years before retiring. She enjoyed her pets, local sports teams and exploring new cooking recipes.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Helen Tennant; uncles, Walter Tennant and "Jack" Jackson; sister-in-law, Florence Maloney; nephew, Bill Maloney; and great-niece, Katie Maloney

Left to cherish her memory is her son, David Elliott; brother, Bill Maloney; nephews and nieces, Susan, Patrick (Linda) and John (Cindy) Maloney, Kathleen (Bret) Moore; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no formal services at this time.
