Marilyn "PeeWee" J. (Hornbeck) Rusu, 59, of Akron, passed away June 29, 2012. She was born in Akron, OH on May 3, 1953 to the late Paul and Pauline Hornbeck.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Hornbeck.
She is survived by her children, Tonya, Gary, James Hornbeck and Michael Rusu; grandchildren, Shawna and Greg McHood, Ashley; siblings, David (Linda) Bennett, Patty (Ted) Bishop, Carolyn (Butch) Mohney, Darla (Craig) Metz, Sandra Popovich and Betty Hornbeck; special friends, Tim, Billy Jo and Rose; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 8, from 1-3 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
