Marilyn Sue Hoskinson, 69, went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2013.
Marilyn loved to grow flowers. She also loved country music, Elvis, and all of the people she worked with, especially her co-workers at Bob Evans.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha James; sisters, Joyce Montgomery, Patricia Howell, and Martha Ormiston; brothers, James James and Mark James.
Survivors include her husband, Lyndel "Barney", of 33 years; son, Gary (Lisa Doolittle) Bartholomew; daughters, Lisa Bartholomew and Molly (Harry) Dodson; grandchildren, Corrinne, Brittney, Starlla, Lauryn, Joshua, Joseph, Andrew, and Tiyler; great-grandchildren, Airyonna, Bradley, Aliviah, Malachi, Alexa, Trevolon, Anthony, and Avery; sisters, Betty (Henry) Shearer, Nancy (Dale) Young, Carol (Lee) Powell, Nina Corona, and Alice James; brothers, Harry (Theresa) James, Jr., and Robert James.
Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
