Marjorie (Crankshaw) Burch
June 12, 1938 — January 16, 2013
Marjorie Burch (Nee Crankshaw), aged 74, of Tallmadge, OH passed
peacefully at Falls Retirement Village on Wednesday, January 16, 2013.
Margie was born on June 12, 1938 in E. St. Louis, Illinois, to Jesse
Louis and Evelyn (Harper) Crankshaw. She graduated from John R.
Buchtel High School in Akron, OH in 1956 where she sang in the choir.
In 1975, Marjorie became a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduating
with honors from LPN School in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. This began a long
career caring for Alzheimers patients and others in need.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, George
Burch. Jessica Eve Emery, Valerie M. Miller, Garland W. Milhoan, III
(Bill) (wife, Tonia Anne), R. Scott Milhoan (wife Ellen Marie), and
Timothy R. Milhoan (wife Sandra) considered themselves privileged to
be her children. Together, they blessed Marjorie with 10 grandchildren
and 3 great-grandchildren.
Marjorie is also survived by her brother Robert Crankshaw and sister
Elizabeth (Crankshaw) Rogers, both of Arkansas.
There will be no services for Marjorie, but a memorial party is being planned for this Spring. In lieu of donations, the family respectfully asks that you hug your mother right now.
