Marjorie Imbeau

Marjorie Imbeau, born July 1924, safely Home with Christ on February 25, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, David; brother Richard; grandson David; and great-grandson Daniel. Loved and survived by her four children, Stephen (Shirley), Kathleen (Tom), Bruce (Bonnie), and Louise; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Married in Oregon in 1943, they had their first three children there and their fourth in California. Marge's life was characterized by love for her Lord, her family, and everyone. Their home was always open to anyone who needed a good meal, a place to sleep, and Christian fellowship. After her husband's death in 2011, she lived with her daughter Louise. Her hope was that all would come to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 2 pm until time of funeral service at 5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gospel efforts that honor the Savior whom Marjorie loved.
