Marjorie Patricke
Marjorie Patricke, 81, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2008. She was born January 25, 1927 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Richard & Margaret (Bock) Clayton. Marjorie worked in the Home Health Care Industry for Lots of Love and Jennie's Home Health Care. Previously, she had worked 10 years for the Salvation Army. Marjorie had a deep faith in the Lord and loving commitment to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean Burdette and son-in-law, Marvin Burdette. She is survived by her son, Larry Reed, Jr. (Kathleen); daughters, Patty Davis (Shane) and Mary Phillips (Rodger); 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. TODAY at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron with Rev. John Thielenhaus officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 163549, Columbus OH 43216-3549.
