Marjorie R. Pruce, 89, of Tallmadge, passed away May 6, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born June 6, 1920 in McDonald, Ohio to the late Michael & Julia (Triplat) Krossman. Marjorie was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith and has attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church since moving to the area in 1957. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Pruce on February 26, 1994; sisters, Ann Peloza and Maggie Plesac; brothers, Joseph, Frank and George Krossman. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Pruce; son and daughter-in-law, Vic & Sally Pruce; grandchildren, Renee Pachta, Guy Pruce, Sherri Petroff and Ann Sparks; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Kollar; and brother, Michael (Florence) Krossman. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at Our Lady of Victory Church, Tallmadge beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. John Hengle presiding. Interment will follow at Tallmadge Cemetery.
