Marjorie Evelyn Reed

Marjorie Evelyn (nee Claus) Reed, passed away on July 19, 2017. She was born on August 10, 1928 in Akron, Ohio, and lived all her life in Akron.
After graduating from East High School she married Charles Edward Reed, the love of her life. Evelyn worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber company for 10 years as a secretary.
Evelyn and Charles were blessed with three sons, Robert and Mark both of Akron, and Mike, who is deceased; her grandchildren, Caroline Ann (Gary) Scott of Anchorage, Alaska and Erik Tobias (Erica) Reed of Pueblo, Colorado; her great-grandchildren, Breeana, Kaliegh, and Everett; and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Steadman, also survives.
In addition to her husband, Charles, who preceded her in death, others that have gone before her were her parents, Walter and Freda Hossman Claus; and her brother-in-law, Ronald Steadman.
Memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 6:00 PM.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.
