Mark A. Thomas, 46, of Akron, passed away on June 11, 2011. Mark will always be remembered for his love of life and love for his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mark is survived by his wife, Tracy Thomas; parents, David and Pat Thomas; daughters, Caitlin and Hailey Thomas; stepchildren, Lisa and Curtis Young; brothers, David and Rob Thomas; and sister, Lisa (Roy) Malcomb. A memorial service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Tallmadge, 848 Southeast Ave, Pastor Stephen L. Mortimer officiating. A celebration of Mark's life will follow the memorial service at Heights Construction Reception Hall, 459 Morgan Ave., Akron. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mark's family.
