Once upon a time two teenagers fell in love, were married, had 3 children, moved to Suffield and added 3 more, and had a long and amazing life journey. That is the Adelman family story per Mark E Adelman ("Sonny"). Sonny traded his long distance driving career to be at home for Ella and his kids. He was a lifelong truck driver retired from Alvan Motor Freight and maintained his CDL license until he passed, just in case he got the gumption to go back to work. Sonny was a member of the Mogadore Moose and coached Pee Wee football and Little League baseball for several Suffield youth teams, and maintained relationships with many of his players who would stop to visit him up until he passed. He had a quiet way, was thoughtful and had a sly sense of humor. Sonny loved wrenching on cars, working in the garden and talking about days gone by. Family waiting to meet his soul are his wife of 60 years Ella Adelman, father Marcus Adelman, mother Joan Gerber, brothers Rick, Roddy, David, grand-daughter Megan Adelman and brother-in-law Jon Rowe. He is survived by his children Mark, Jana Anderson (Scott), Darren (Delores), Shelli Andrick (Dean), Daniel, Jon, sisters Marilyn, Doris, Theresa, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
