Mark Henry Allen
November 10, 1960 — February 1, 2021
Mark Henry Allen, age 60 of Akron passed away after a long battle with diabetes on Monday, February 1, 2021. A lifelong resident of Akron, he was born on November 10, 1960, the son of the late Walter and Marian {Ritchie} Allen.
Mark will be dearly missed by his wife of 37 years, Michele; daughter Jennifer Allen; son Kyle (Anastasiia) Allen; grandchildren Haley Bennight and Vincent Allen; sisters Ella Cross and Barbara Allen; many extended family members and friends, including Bob Miller and Ed Paserba.
Mark spent 20 years as the manager of North Hill Coin Laundromat on North Main Street, where he made great friends. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he was part of the men's organization Men of Zion.
Per Mark's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date. To leave a message for Mark's family, please scroll below.
