Mark Evans Brown passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2022. Mark was born in Montgomery, Alabama at Maxwell Air Force Base on March 3, 1956.
He graduated from John T. Morgan Academy in Selma, AL and attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., pursing a degree in Filmmaking.
Mark was a hard worker and proved it as a Security Guard at Six Flags over Texas and also at Sea World of Ohio, where he met Lynn A. Brown and their "Sea World romance" turned into over 35 years of marriage. His current occupation was Supervisor of Cleveland Security for Progressive Insurance.
Mark was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend . His many diverse interests included history, music, concerts, theater, movies, traveling, photography, animals, baseball, Canadian Warplanes, Green Bay and Alabama football.
Also known as "Downtown Mark Brown", he loved playing bass guitar in numerous bands over the years and the most current band was Third Monkey, where he met many wonderful friends.
He was extremely active in community theater, both in directing and in acting. He loved to be on stage, whether in music or theater and became well known by many in the community. His dynamic personality was captivating.
He knew how to live life to the fullest and enjoyed being active. He was always willing to help anyone in need, to take pictures, give advice, support or just lend a helping hand.
An avid reader, he knew a little something about everything and could strike up a conversation to make anyone feel welcomed and loved.
Always smiling, he was known for his friendly, outgoing, kind and supportive nature. He will be deeply and greatly missed by his wife, his family, and all the many, many lives he has influenced and touched.
Mark leaves behind his wife, Lynn A. Brown (Zanercik); his parents, Robert E. Brown and Gail S. Brown; sister, Robyn Brown Farris (Steve); brothers-in-law, Gary Zanercik and Mark Zanercik (Tracey); nephews, Zachary Taylor, Jonathon Taylor and Danny, Kevin and Mike Zanercik.
He is preceded in death by his brother, David C. Brown.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221, on Saturday, April 9, 2022., from 2-6 pm.

Story sharing & Prayers: 3-4pm
Celebration and food: 4-6pm
Friends and family are welcome to stop by or stay the entire time and are encouraged to bring their favorite Mark Brown memories to celebrate his wonderful life. In his honor, please wear your favorite Star Wars, Batman, music, or theater themed clothing.
