Mark C. Hodgkiss, 54, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014.
Born October 6, 1959, he was a graduate of Archbishop Hoban and resided in Akron all his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Hodgkiss, of Akron; and brother, Robert Hodgkiss, of Akron.
Survived by daughter, Haley (Nick) Wilhelm, of Atwater; sons, Cullen and Quinn Hodgkiss, of Akron; daughter, Riley Hodgkiss, of Fairlawn; father, Robert (Shirley), of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Tim (Teresa), of Green; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, 4 to 7 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. A celebration of life will follow from 9 to 11 p.m. at the Hibernian Club, 2000 Brown St., Akron, 44319. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at Summa Intensive Care T2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St., Akron, 44308.
