With profound sadness we announce the passing of Mark S. Crain, devoted husband, son, brother and friend. Mark left for Heaven on Monday, February 8, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born on January 23, 1960.
Mark is preceded in death by his daughter, Chloe Ann; and nephews Brian Esker and Randy Newton.
He is survived by his wife Kimberlee Crain of 32 years; parents Mable Bennett (Vervie), Charles and Sue Crain of Morganfield, KY; brothers Leon (Candy) Bennett of Circleville, WV., Rex (Heather) Crain of New Franklin, OH, Craig (Donna) Bennett of Morgantown, WV.; sisters, Lynn (Dave) Butz of Mogadore, Deanna (Jerry) Scott of Mannford, OK; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mark was a member of Rivertree Lake Campus in Uniontown. He was a knife collector and has a collection of old toy cars. He was currently employed by O'Reilly, and had worked many years at Polyone. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Ellet High School. He made friends wherever he went due to his kindness and generosity.
Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A private funeral service will be held by the family and he will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
