Mark Edward Croft

Mark Edward Croft, age 65, passed away peacefully July 20, 2024. He was born in Barberton, Ohio to Bill and Katherine Croft. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Bill and Katherine Croft; brother, Mike Croft; sister, Mary (Robby) Petrus; nephews, Michael (Mindy), Jonathan (Heather); great nephews, Gavin, Landen, Tanner, Lincoln; his special dog, Toby; many loving family members and great friends, including his dedicated lifelong special friend, Denny (Diane) Rafferty.

Mark was an avid fisherman and loved fishing on Pymatuning Lake, Lake Erie and going to Watts Bar Dam in Tennessee. His favorite catch was a walleye. He also enjoyed traveling in his van and in his younger years riding his motorcycle and camping. Mark loved playing Santa and surprising his nephews at Christmas. He had a lot of love and compassion for animals and his family was everything to him.

A celebration of Mark's life will take place Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 12 noon at Green Valley United Methodist Church, 620 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mark's name to the American Cancer Society.
