Mark Wayne Gordon, 65, passed away February 2, 2021 with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to David and Gladys (Berg) Gordon, Sr., he was a longtime resident of Green, Ohio. Mark owned and operated Gordon Kennels, where he was known internationally for breeding and training dogs for protection and obedience. He enjoyed being around dogs, traveling, listening to records and also spending time with his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; brother, Jerry; sister in-law, Connie; brother in-law, Jimmy Phillips; cousin, Gary Berg; Uncle Harry. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Marilyn; children, Jason, Jenna (Don); father, David Sr; siblings, David, Jr., Joyce (Mike) Downey; close friends, Bill Whited, Larry Neal; nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a memorial gathering at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mark's name to the ASPCA.
