Mark Thomas Hambright

Mark Thomas Hambright, 62, of Akron, passed away on July 2, 2024. He was born in Akron on August 26, 1961 to the late Thomas and Frances {Worsnop} Hambright.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his longtime companion Cheryl Dumphy.

Mark is survived by his loving daughters Crystal Quinn and Kelcie Yanders; grandchildren Brett, Bailey, Brooke, Brittany and Spencer; and sisters Beth Hambright and Jennifer Lucas; nieces Tricia Hambright and Sarah Lucas; nephew Nathaniel Lucas; many loving cousins.

Mark was a 1980 graduate of Ellet High School, where he excelled in many athletic activities, especially football. He attended Ashland University on a football scholarship, and then played for The University of Akron. Mark holds a special place in the hearts of those he touched, and they will miss him dearly.
