Mark D. Jones

Mark D. Jones, 64, of Green, passed away on October 15, 2024. He was born on March 21, 1960 to the late Dale and Norma {Rufener} Jones.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his infant sister Michele Jones. 

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; daughters Nicole (Matt) Brennessel and Katie (Jacob) Adams; grandchildren Gavin, Lana, Wyatt, Garrett and Colton; brothers Gary (Judy) and Curt (Linda) Jones; several cherished extended family members and friends. 

Mark worked as a carry-all driver for Shelly & Sands, retiring in 2023 to fight his cancer battle head-on. Kathy, his beloved wife of 42 years, was by his side every step of the way.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, mowing and watching the wildlife. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards, "tinkering", and cheering on The Cleveland Guardians.

Per Mark's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held on November 9th at 1:00 p.m. at MAPS Air Museum, 2260 International Pkwy, North Canton, OH 44720. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory are suggested to Stewart's Caring Place or the Wildlife Conservation Center.
