Mark W Knight

Mark W. Knight, age 63 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his home on October 21, 2021.

Mark was born in Akron, Ohio on February 4, 1958 to William Knight and Ola (Yoak) Christner. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1976. He worked and traveled the world for 30 years with Steelastic in Akron, Ohio. Mark then worked at Kyocera/SGS in Cuyahoga Falls as a Distribution Center Manager. He enjoyed hiking. Mark liked to watch his son, Matthew bowl. He loved spending time with his family and his wife. Mark spent a lot of time listening to all types of music, but especially rock n' roll and blues. He loved going to car shows and traveling. He enjoyed watching Westerns and the Cleveland Browns.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Linda, children, Michelle Renee (Corey) Haught, Lisa Renee Altieri-Cockerham , Rachel Renee Knight, Matthew F. Knight, William J. Charles, grandchildren, Az, Elijah, Hannah, Noah, Sam, Emma, Ethan, Liam, Nevaeh, Tatiana, Briddick, Brielle, Bryce, Tristan, siblings, Shari (Charlie) Bostaph, Bonnie (Marty Echols) Hudik, Tim (Elizabeth) Knight, multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, brothers-in-law, Ray (Lee) Hoy, and Jerry (Truby) Hoy, special friends, Theresa (Bob) Criner, and Mark (Lynn) Brown and many friends, co-workers, and extended family who will dearly miss him.

Friends and family may come to call on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Akron City Summa Hospital.
