Mark T. Lukasik, 53, passed away April 11, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Toledo, he lived in Clearwater, Florida for several years before coming to the Akron area. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Desert Storm. Mark wasn't a stranger to anyone and he always had a smile on his face. He was always very generous and out to help someone. Mark enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, his dogs, collecting guns and spending time with his beloved wife and sons.
Mark was preceded in death by his best friend and father in-law, Gayle Meffert; brother in-law, Michael Meffert; parents; Gene and Frances (Brancheau) Lukasik; sister, Frannie. He will be sadly missed by wife, Tracy; sons, Travis, Chase; siblings, Ruby Ferguson, Bernard Lopinski; mother in-law, Beverly Meffert; uncles, Curtis (Laura) Meffert, Patrick (Sue) Meffert; aunt, Joyce Meffert; close family friends, Chuck and Sannah Durant; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. His family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mark's name to the American Cancer Society.
