Mark Steven Tosenberger

Mark S. Tosenberger, "Toss," 57, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 19, 2023. He was born on December 9, 1965 to Mary {Mandich} Tosenberger and the late Rudy Tosenberger.

In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents Michael and Catherine Tosenberger and Stephen and Theresa Mandich.

Mark is survived by his loving mother Mary; sisters Laura (Dennis Petty) Ridenour and Maria Schneider; nephews Joshua (Kelly) Tosenberger, Jeremy (Emily White) Tosenberger and Anthony Schneider; niece Katherine Schneider; great-nephew Blayze Tosenberger; great-nieces Meadow Tosenberger and Tori Hanzel; uncle Mike (Cindi) Tosenberger and their family; aunt Carole Tosenberger and her family; best friends Dean (Ginnie) Darrah, Troy (Christina) Reeves, Dave (Debbie) Jursik and many other very close friends.

Mark was a huge football fan, loyally supporting the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He often spoke of his trips to the beach, and enjoyed fishing with his nephew Joshua and dad Rudy. Mark and Rudy enjoyed a special connection as well through their restaurant, Rudy's Steak & Beer Garden, where they fostered friendships and built a community.

Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Following the viewing, Mark will be cremated, and a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church, 3487 Old Forge Rd. Rootstown, OH 44272 on Saturday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Restland Cemetery, Brimfield at a later date.
