Mark A. Ziegler

Mark A. Ziegler, 57, passed away on April 15th, 2023. He was born on September 22nd, 1965, the son of Floyd and Patricia Ziegler. He graduated from Wadsworth High School with the class of 1983. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Liberty University in 2011. Mark made his hobby a lifelong career in building barns and was employed for 32 years with Storage Buildings Unlimited. Mark was a man of great faith and a member of Millheim Baptist Church for the last 28 years. He served the Lord as a Deacon and was the Vice-President of EurAsian Baptist Mission and frequently served on short-term mission trips to Africa, Europe, and South America. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting with his family and loved fishing with his grandchildren. Mark raised his family on their farm, looking after the chickens and cows. He will always be remembered for his love of family, infectious smile and laughter, and his dedication and faithfulness to the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Ziegler, and father-in-law Darl Spencer.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Ellen R. Ziegler; children Stephen (Katie) Ziegler, Ashley (Jake) Warren, John-Mark (Miranda) Ziegler, Amber (Drew) Stump, and Spencer (Rachel) Ziegler; grandchildren Alayna, Blake, Brooks, Hunter, Colton, Braxton, Wyatt, Mason, Bria, and Tate; beloved mother Patricia Ziegler; siblings Todd (Vickie) Ziegler, Esther Marks, and Karen (Dave) Eckenrode; "adoptive daughter" Marsha (Josh) Watson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Millheim Baptist Church (2661 Hayne Rd., Akron 44312). The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 22nd, at 10:00 am at Millheim Baptist Church, with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating.

Private Interment will be held at Ridgeview Cemetery, Cadiz, OH.
