Markell Demetrius Hope "Rock" was born on September 29th 1988 to
Dorothea Lynn Hope and Rudolph Valentino Ammons Jr. He ascended into
his Heavenly Father's arm on September 30, 2022. Markell attended Akron Public Schools where he became city champion in wrestling and became a certified Mason later graduating from Kenmore High School Class of 2007. He was employed at Timken Steel, now City Scrap for the past seven years. Markell was a phenomenal son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and a dog dad. He had a very close and affectionate relationship with his immediate family. He was always the "life of the party; his smile was contagious and would brighten up any room he entered. He took pride in his work hoping to one day open his own tow truck company;
also being highly ranked in martial arts and wrestling he hoped to one day
open a recreational center for kids to teach self defense. He was so full of life and had the biggest heart; being there for his family was extremely important to him. He was a true family man. He loved to travel, go to the gun range, watch sports, listen to music and talk about life.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Gladys Marie Keyes-Colvin, Luretha Stamps-Ammons; Grandfather Edward Hope Sr., Special Aunts Dorothy Keyes, Anna Stamps, Marilyn Mitchell,and Uncle Edward "Shug" Hope. Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Parents Dorothea and Rudolph; Sisters Mariah and Marcella; Brother Rudolph "Rudy- Ill; Nephews Coleone and Nasir; Uncles, Michael Hope, Gerald Lee Keyes, Delbert Ammons,Timothy Ammons; Aunts Charlene Keyes, Irnese Hope, Elizabeth Hope, Carmen Ammons, Tonya Ammons, Pamela Stamps and Tiffany Bohanon. Special Cousin Raymond Lanier Kindall, Beloved Dog Rocky, Bestfriend Roger Greer and a host of many cousins, relatives and friends.
Markell will surely be missed by all who loved and knew him!
