Marla A. Ruark

Marla A. Ruark, (Miller-Roush-Gardner ) 69, went home to be with the lord on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Marla was born on February 24,1947. She spent lots of time tending to her flower gardens, arts and crafts, cake decorating and spending time with her family and grand children. Marla retired from Akron Porcelain and Plastics after 30 years of service.

Marla is preceded in death by her son, Alan Ray Roush; brother-in-law, Charles Hickman.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Ruark; children, Lorie ( Buddy) Kim, Heather (Jon) Feagain; sibilings, Debbie Hickman, Kenneth and Robert Moede; grand daughters Brittany Patterson, Amber Scala , numerous special grand children; her cats; Abby, Patches, Mindy and friends who will miss Marla dearly.

Marla's family would like to Thank Tonette for all of your kindness, dedication and love that you have expressed over the years.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday , April 12, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305.

Internment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
