Marla Regina Stevens, 39 years old, passed away Tuesday, November 24. Marla was a graduate of Kent State University. She was born and lived in Akron, Ohio her entire life. Marla is survived by her fiancé, James Fitzgerald; father, Richard (Georgiene) Stevens; mother, Edith Stevens; sisters, Shauna (Rev. Timothy) Rankin, Misha (Joseph) Prunesti and Theresa (Patrick) Kapper; brother, Anthony Baker; nieces, Hannah, Kellen, McKenna, Kennedy, Joseph, Machenzie, Rachel, Alisha and Meghann. This beautiful, intelligent and comical woman was known and loved by many. A funeral ceremony will be conducted Monday, November 30 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron beginning at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the ceremony begins.
