Marlene A. Wolfe
Marlene A. Wolfe, 81, went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2016. She was born in Blue Ridge, GA and moved to Ohio when she was 3 months old. She was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church for the past five years and was a lifetime member of the Apostolic Faith. Marlene loved playing board games with family and friends. She cherished her family and was loved by all that knew her.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ellen Hembree; and daughter, Karen (Wolfe) Dillon. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wendell; children, Lori (Gary) Sprang, John Wolfe, Nancy (Brian) Jones, and Michael Wolfe; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Maione; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday January 11, 2016 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 11am at Calvary Apostolic Church 2693 Nesbitt Ave. Akron, OH 44314. Pastor Nelson "Butch" Carter officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
