Marlene L. Olson

Marlene L. Olson, 90, passed away December 7, 2023 with family by her side. Born in Windber, PA, she resided in the Akron, OH area all of her adult life. Marlene retired from B. F. Goodrich after 25 years of service. She was known to be a caregiver, especially to her late husband Chester, who she shared 57 years of marriage with. They started their children in church at a young age. Marlene enjoyed taking her kids for ice cream, crafting and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Olson; parents, Clarence and Evelyn Weyandt; 4 siblings. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Connie Cochran, Cindy Herkner, Carol (Steve) Badgett; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

Marlene is in Heaven seeing all those she missed and loved. Now there will be sunshine and fulfillment. She survived the hard part and is now reaping the rewards for all the good she gave. She deserves this more than anything.

A memorial service was already held in honor of Marlene. She will be laid to rest with her husband Chester at Crown Hill Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Marlene's name to the charity of their choice.
