Marsha Kay Lafferty
Marsha Kay Lafferty, 60, of Akron, passed away February 4, 2011. Marsha was a longtime volunteer at the Springfield Local Schools and the Cub Scouts. She loved spending time with children, making crafts, camping and fishing. She also loved flowers, particularly roses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth Hosey. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 41 years, Steven Lafferty; daughter, Jennifer (Darrin) Ellis; sisters, Betty Jean (Michael) Morrison, Dawna Marie (Gary) Morrison; brother, Scott Hosey; grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas; parents-in-law, Dean and Elizabeth Lafferty; sister-in-law, Lynn Lafferty; brother-in-law, Dan Lafferty; three nieces and two nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., Chaplain Marvin Sparks officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
