Marston R. May, 83, passed away on August 27, 2005. Marston had served in WWII with the US Army. He retired from BF Goodrich after 42 years of service, served as recreation director of the Foreman's Club for 16 years, and enjoyed softball. When Marston was 11, he took 2nd place in a National Marble Tournement in New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his first wife Valois; son Greg May; and brother Red May. Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Eleanor; stepsons Larry (Bonnie) Shenise and Robert Shenise; stepdaughters Sandra (Larry, Jr.) Benedum and Marsha Shenise; granddaughter Julie May (Fiance Steven Harding); step-grandchildren Lori and Larry Benedum, Michael, Larry, Rosie, and Courtenay Shenise, and Victoria Dobbins; step-great-grandchildren Shawn Benedum and Larry Benedum, III. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service Thursday, 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
