Martha A. Reynolds
Martha A. Reynolds, 84, of Stow, passed away January 5, 2014. Martha was born in Artemas, Pennsylvania on November 9, 1929 to the late Robert and Blanche Jay.
Martha retired from Acme and owned the Gold Mushroom Gift Shop for many years with her husband, George. She was a Welcome Wagon member for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed preparing family dinners and occasional jaunts to casinos.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, George; and sisters, Rilda, Adna, Veda, and Irene. She is survived by her children, Larry Reynolds, Brenda (Jim) Stevens, and Gary Reynolds; grandchildren, Kenneth (Jennifer) Spigelmire, Michelle (Joshua) Brooks, and James Stevens (Sara); great-grandchildren, Alexis and Sean Lahman, Gabrielle, Gavin, Graham, and Griffin Spigelmire, Taylor, Joshua, and Melina Brooks; brothers, Guy (Mary Lou), Dale (Lucille), and Richard (Linda) Jay; sister-in-law, Joan Reynolds; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Angel.
The family wishes to thank all the people at Crossroads Hospice and Midwest Home care for the excellent care given to Martha.
Family and friends may call on Monday, January 13 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lorie Lerner officiating.
Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
