Martha Glenn Gipson

Our loving Mom, Grams, Grandma Mo, Sister, Aunt, and Friend went home to be with her Lord and loved ones on November 24, 2004. Martha was born in Lexington, KY on May 12, 1917. She lived most of her life in Akron. She attended Akron Baptist Temple and Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Shepherd; husband, Vergle; baby daughter, Angel; sisters, Louise, Eva Dean, Beulah, Sylvia, and Ruby; brothers, Gordon, Charles, Tom, and Dreyfus. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Bill) Robinson; sons, Vergle (Mary Ann) Gipson, and Patrick Gipson; sisters, Ruth Fuetter and Mary Short; brothers, Frank Shepherd and Shirly Shepherd; grandchildren, David (Kellie) Robinson, Debbie (Jeff) Hedrick, Vergle III (Becky) Gipson, and Laura Gipson; great-grandchildren, Connie, Aristia, David Jr., Brooke, McKenzie, Logan, Alex, Max, and Joe; special niece, Evelyn Longfellow and many more nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to Hospice, especially Lori and Glenda for their loving care. "See Ya Later! Love Ya!" Friends and family may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Phil Hulgin officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
