Martha Emma Karr
Martha Emma Karr, 80, passed away on March 31, 2009. Martha retired from St. Thomas Hospital in 1994 and was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts and old movies. Preceded in death by her son James Ball; and stepson Thomas Aaron Karr. Survivors include her beloved husband Thomas; daughters Emma Keller, Susan Ball, and Kathleen Ball; sons Timothy and Ted (Lori) Ball; stepchildren Audrey (Ken) Humphrey and Kenneth (Barbara) Karr; brothers Budd and Gorman Lees; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and little buddies Elsa and Kitty Karr. Calling hours will be Friday, 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
