Martha L. Miller, 83, of Akron, passed away August 11, 2009. Martha was born in Akron on September 8, 1925 to the late Joe and Nettie Bohrer. Martha worked at Edwin Shaw and later at Amber Restaurant. In her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her yard, country music, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Miller; brother, Dick Bohrer; and sisters, Evelyn Stewart and Rosie Heaton. She will be deeply missed by her children, Bonnie (Steve) Goodspeed and Kevin (Geraldine) Miller; sisters, Bernadine Musser, Mae Miller, and Jeanie Pearson; grandchildren, Kimberly Semer, Eoin (Kate) Miller, and Laura Miller; and great-grandchildren, Bobby and Blade Leslie. Visitation will be Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
