Martha Jane May
Martha Jane May, 86, of Tallmadge, died June 9, 2005 following an extended illness. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Helen (Harper) Saltsman. Martha belonged to the Temple Baptist Church in Green. Along with her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her brother, Riley Saltsman Jr. and her sister, Hazel Pritt. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roscoe; daughters, Gail May and Debrah Kennedy both of Akron; sons Loren C. Price of Pinellas Park, FL, David P. (Regina) Price of Hartville, Carl May of Nashville, TN; sister, Ruth Mosier of Wadsworth; grandchildren Anthony E. Price, Jeffrey Price, Heather Bukoski, Michelle Compton, Gennifer Stephenson, Lois Fout and Johnathan Stephenson; and 12 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Glenn Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Ravenna.
