Martin J. Oznowich

Martin J. "Butch" Oznowich, 77, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2023. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Jacob and Bernice (Kurowski) Oznowich, he resided in both Cuyahoga Falls and Stow most of his adult life. Butch was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran and he enjoyed fishing, flying kites at the beach, watching all Cleveland sports, being outside and working in the yard, reading and watching westerns and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Linda. Butch will be sadly missed by his son, Stephen; sisters, Mary Ann (Jack) Arvai, Donna (Rick) Quetsch; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, August 21, 2023 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Butch's name to the charity of their choice.
