Marvin Ward, Sr.

Marvin "Tiny" Ward, Sr., 78, passed away December 21, 2021. Born in Mingo County, WV to Mirl and Lillian (Dodson) Ward, he was a lifelong Brimfield area resident. He retired from Chrysler after 31 years of service. Tiny loved his kids and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Christopher Ward; siblings, Douglas Ward, Ralph (May) Ward, Alvie (Joe) Ward, Brenda Ward. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Karen; children, Marvin, Jr (Lisa), Antoinette (David) Ward, Marion (Lisa) Ward, Jacob Ward, Karl (Terri) Ward, Timothy (Becca) Ward; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, David Ward, Karl (Dixie) Ward; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tommie Nicholas officiating.
