Mary Katherine Adkins, 89, passed away on April 1, 2017. She was born in Barboursville, WV on May 2, 1927.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Everyone who knew her immediately loved her sweet personality. She enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, and sewing.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Shem Adkins; mother, Irene Myers; grandparents, Alexander and Edith Ross; two brothers and two sisters. She will be deeply missed by her children, Eddie (Phyllis) Adkins, Barbara Patton, Charles (Karen) Adkins, and Larry (Doris) Adkins; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Mary will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Valley Memory Gardens in Huntington, WV.
